Ana falls in love with Flavio, a guy who abandoned a military career because he didn't want to kill anyone, not even in self-defence. When war is declared, Flavio and Ana's other friends are recruited to fight but her brother Esteban goes AWOL and runs away abroad while the other members of his band go to war. Ana must wait for them in the city, surrounded by planes, missiles, and explosions.
