The UMC Gets Animated! Music from Animation Films Played in a Concert

Immerse yourself in the movies' musical universe and enjoy the thrilling live performance delivered to you by the musicians of the Union Musicale de Cran-Gevrier.


Created in 1895, the Union Musicale de Cran-Gevrier (UMC, a local Musical Union), formerly the "Lyre Industrielle", is Cran-Gevrier municipality’s longest established association.

The symphony is a wind orchestra that includes instruments from the woodwind and brass family and percussion. It is composed of some forty amateur musicians and performs at commemorative and cultural events, as well as solo concerts or in collaboration with other associations or cultural institutions.

Its wide-ranging repertoire encompasses symphonic wind ensembles, classical styles and film scores.

Édouard Jannin has directed the UMC since 2019.
