Camino a Bolla
Los Calladitos (The Silent Ones) was founded in 2015 by Ariadna Galaz and Jorge Peralta. In 2017 founders Ari and Jorge also began Espacio Curandero, an artist's residency and accelerated foundations program. This year is going to be their first open call to Mexican artists. In the future, the studio will receive different artists from all over the world.
Los Calladitos began painting in the streets during different art festivals. Currently, they are painting murals around Latin America and helping communities through art education and hosting workshops. They started painting murals in the streets because they thought that art could change your life and if you shared it everyone would have access to other worlds or other states of mind. Therefore, it doesn't matter if you have money or not, if you have access to museums or have cultural education, in the streets everyone can see it, interpret it, and create their own opinion about a piece.
