Mamie lives in Gaspésie in a house with its back to the sea. Her sheltered life is turned upside down when she receives an expropriation notice. When she has to look inside herself, she realises she must renew contact with her granddaughter.

    Directed by: Janice NADEAU

    Trained in Graphic Design at UQAM, and in Illustration in Strasburg, Janice Nadeau works as an artistic director for various organisations. She has illustrated numerous books and has won the prestigious Governor General's Award three times for her work. Published in 2003, written by Marie-Francine Hébert, "No Fish Where to Go" earned her the first of these three prizes. She adapted it for her first exploit in animation, co-directed by Nicola Lemay, and it won the Fipresci Award at Annecy 2014.
