Every morning at the Shorts & Breakfast sessions Marcel Jean speaks with directors of short films in competition. Animated meetings, where discussions, good spirits and a friendly atmosphere will be served up with coffee!
Continuing the tradition established for over ten years now, Marcel Jean will be hosting the interviews with directors of short films in competition the day after their films are screened. The public is welcome to attend... and of course take part!
These Shorts & Breakfast sessions are a daily opportunity to laugh, share, question, or even provoke, in an informal and relaxed atmosphere around coffee and croissants.
During the interviews, directors of short films shown the day before talk about what went on behind the scenes of the production including the creative process, the obstacles met along the way, technical innovations, and a few juicy anecdotes to accompany the breakfast menu!
To sum up, to get the day off to a good start, the Shorts & Breakfast are rich good-natured exchanges, where humour rubs shoulders with invigorating and stimulating critical thinking.
This year, the Shorts & Breakfast sessions will take place in the beautiful setting of the haras, at the Festival bar.
