Enjoy the programme celebrating the cultural diversity of a Mexican childhood!

In a tribute to Mexico, José Iñesta has teamed up with seven renowned Mexican animation professionals: Sofía Carrillo, Ana Cruz, Lucía Cavalchini, Tania de León Young, Lourdes Villagómez, Christian Bermejo and Jordi Iñesta. Together, they have carefully concocted nine programmes comprising 88 short films, offering Annecy festivalgoers an enthralling plunge into the richness of this multifaceted culture.

Growing up Mexican is a multicultural full time job! Kids may be looked down upon because of their height, but we know that they are sometimes the smartest in the room and hardest critic. This program is a view on the films that over the past decades have fascinated our youth through their storytelling and have respected the children as the demanding audience they are.
