In Conversation with Nexus Studios’ Director, Fx Goby
A true visionary, Fx’s captivating portfolio spans 2D and 3D animation, live action, and everything in between. Working closely with artist and Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett, Fx was entrusted to give the world’s most famous virtual band, Gorillaz, a super-stylised new look in 3D as they burst back on the scene with a new album, leading to a series of ground-breaking multi-platform activations. Gorillaz’s Silent Running music video directed by Jamie Hewlett and Fx Goby is part of the Official Competition at Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2023.
