aaa Appointments

The non-profit association the Atelier de cinéma d’animation d’Annecy et de Haute-Savoie has aimed to initiate and instruct a wide public in the art of animated film through a training and production centre since 1971.

Every year, during the Festival, the aaa Appointments, made up of workshops and meetings, provide an opportunity to share the passion for this animated art.

The Cafés croissants de l'aaa are meeting sessions and presentations given by established or student filmmakers that are particularly focused towards a young public to help attendees develop and diversify their vision of the cinema.

The Workshops give the public the chance to become both actor and spectator, through interactive filming sessions at the centre Courier, or another workshop, "Silence on bruite", for school groups.

Finally, the Open Day is an invitation to visit the aaa premises to find out more about the different projects the association is involved in.
