A great variety of platforms does not necessarily multiply the sources of funding nor the guarantee of receipts. But the quest for a viable economic model for cross or transmedia is a multiple endeavour. The common denominator is the search for pre-funding and/or receipts that make up an alternative or complement to the contribution of a single TV broadcaster.

What contribution could press editors or telecommunication groups possibly bring to this tough economy?

How can brands become involved in the funding of these new programmes without alienating the aspect of creative freedom?

Could the target audience of these programmes be implicated in their funding?
