As a public channel, we are obliged (and we love it) to offer high-profile programming in all genres (live-action, animation, entertainment and documentaries).

• The target: preschoolers and 6-12-year-olds.
• The channels: ZDF and KiKA.
• The program in our fictional branch: fresh, funny, charming and touching in look, feel and storytelling.
• Modern classics are appreciated.

Our best working shows in previous years were: Robin Hood, Lassie, Mia and Me, Mako, Find me in Paris, The Worst Witch, The Bureau of Magical Things and for younger children: Henrietta, Conni, Pettersson und Findus – just to name a few.

Long, Long Holidays has been our highlight in terms of programming for special occasions. The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo's Child, Stick Man, The Snail and the Whale, Zogg, Shooom’s Odyssey were, and are, also very much appreciated for the Xmas and New Year's Eve slots.

Coming shows, which are very promising: Silverpoint and Theodosia in drama, and Toby Lolness, Pinocchio and Pip and Posy in animation.
